IQNA – The martyrdom of the commanders of resistance further enhances the determination of the resistance front to confront the Zionists and shatter their dream, an Islamic Jihad official said.

Islamic Jihad official Abu Samir Musa

Abu Samir Musa made the remark while addressing an international webinar on “Globalization of Resistance; Achievement of Martyr Soleimani’s School”.

He said the martyrdom of Lt. General Qassem Soleimani shattered the dream of the Zionists and their plans for the region.

He described Gen. Soleimani as a prominent Muslim fighter who showed braveries in the Iraqi-imposed war on Iran in the 1980s and then confronted the American forces in the region and fought Takfiri terrorists in Iraq and Syria.

Gen. Soleimani was also a supporter of the Palestinian resistance for a long time, he noted.

Abu Samir Musa added that the Iranian top commander spent years for preparing the resistance forces in Palestine and Lebanon to confront the Zionist enemy and American plots.

“On the 4th anniversary of his martyrdom, we say that his martyrdom boosted our resolve to resist and fight the American plot.”

The senior Islamic Jihad official went on to say, “We will not abandon Jihad and resistance … until the day when Palestine is liberated and the objectives for which the martyrs of resistance sacrificed their lives are materialized.”

It was also addressed by Abu Wassam Mahfouz Munawwar, another senior member of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, Sheikh Qazi Yusuf Hunaina, head of Lebanon’s Association of Muslim Scholars, and Muhnad Najm Abd al-Aqabi, director of the public relations office of Iraq’s Hashd al-Shaabi.
